Watercolor Experiment

   I've been testing out watercolors and aqua brushes, while working on my Character Designs... It's actually pretty fun. I haven't done watercolors since I was in highschool.

   I was using those cheap watercolors starter sets you get from craft stores.

 I still haven't quite decided on the final design, but I'm leaning towards the faux hawk.

Recession Art Store

   The Recession Art Show wrote a nice "Artist Info" about me on their site! I couldn't have written it better. My artist buddy, Estrella Vega, is also on there.

Mocca Fest Re-Cap

Estrella's Ikea Blue really tractor-beamed everyone to our table!

  The festival came and went, but I had a blast! Thank you to everyone that visited our table and checked out our stuff. And even more thanks to those who bought my zines and/ or prints.

We re-laid out our table on Day 2, so it was easier for people to flip through the prints. Now, I'm working on planning out my project goals for next year! More zines and silkscreen books!

 Shout out to my awesome table-mates, Alexandra Beguez (who sells her stuff online-- I gotta do that!) and Estrella Vega (our own festival guru)! Also, Kim Ku, who had her own table next to ours. Make sure to visit their sites and our collective, the 3-Armed Squid.

the 3/ Mocca 2012

I'll be at Table #G10 with my printmaking buddies- Alexandra Beguez and Estrella Vega! Check out our zines and prints! I've never tabled shows or conventions before, so I don't know what to expect. But I'm really excited for it.

Enlightened Zine! Done and Ready for Mocca 2012. Check it out at Table #G10!

This zine has a cool 5-color silkscreen cover on gold/ silver poster board. This has extra pages from the original version. It will be on sale for $8.

Quick Print...

Something I did quick while figuring stuff out for Mocca. Also, I was experimenting on printing on red paper.

 The process is always fun... when you're not running into multiple problems.

The digital separations are done on Photoshop. The actual print uses 3 colors- blue, pink, and brown on yellow paper.
